Planning :

In order to determine the needs and expectations of our customers, nous avons organisé une rencontre préliminaire. we organized a preliminary meeting to identify the 5 aspects they absolutely wanted in their landscaping project, as well as those they didn’t want.

We used our on-site visit to complete an assessment of the lay of the land with the aim of creating different levels to form distinct spaces.

Presentation:

Following our initial planning meeting, we presented a draft of a landscape design which we could fine tune to our customers’ expectations.

Start of construction :

To prepare for our future work, we carried out the following steps:

• Comprehension of plans
• Calculation of materials
• Implementation of the various elements

Challenges met :

• Excellent coordination of the various professional trades working on the project respected a well-planned schedule
• Adequate soil stabilization. We had to stabilize the soil due to a flood limit to be respected. To do so, we encased the base of the swimming pool with a rock retaining wall and adequate infrastructure.
• Hundreds of tons of materials (stone, sand, etc.) were deposited inside the retaining walls that were built around the pool.

Planning phase :

This project was built over a 4-5 year period and we had free rein from our customers. The goal was to make exterior user-friendly spaces for the future residents.

To do so, we conducted a topographical survey in order to respect the various codes in force, as well as to afford convenient access to the building.

Construction phase :

For this project carried out over several years, we worked in close partnership with the general contractor in order to allow him to continue construction of the various phases of the project, while we executed our landscaping project.
